Energy frame calculator

Answer twelve questions and see whether the house meets the energy frame in the building regulations — and which measures move it most.

Calculates with the method that from 29 May 2026 is an annex to the building regulations: monthly balance, DK DRY 2025 weather data and the method's own shading tables. It is a screening, not the documentation the municipality requires.

What the calculator has assumed

Twelve answers cannot describe a house. The rest is set to the standard values for a dwelling in the building regulations and in SBi guideline 213. If they are wrong for your project, the result moves.

The button opens your own email program with the calculation written in. The page sends nothing itself and stores no information — you send when you press send yourself.

About the basis. The calculator uses the same monthly method, weather data and shading tables as SYNEGRO's full energy frame calculator, which has been checked against the Danish Social and Housing Authority's reference case "Speciel bygning til Beregningsmetode" with 0.00 % deviation. The screening has been recalculated against the full calculator in thirteen test cases. It does not replace it: an energy frame calculation for a building permit requires the project's own areas, U-values, linear thermal transmittance and data sheets. The result here is indicative.
