What the site does — and does not do
The site sets no cookies. Not for statistics, not for marketing, not for anything. That also goes for the calculators and the dashboard demo: the figures you enter never leave your browser and are not sent to us.
Your choice of track — "Private & business" or "Public" — is stored in your own browser so the site remembers it next time. It is not a cookie, it is not sent to anyone, and it cannot be used to recognise you. Delete it by clearing the site's data in your browser. The same goes for your choice of language.
The site does not measure visits. There are no statistics, no tracking and nothing that can identify you — neither with us nor with a third party. If we decide to measure visits later, it will be without cookies, and it will be stated here with a date.
When you write to us
If you send the form, we store what you wrote yourself: name, email, any phone number, subject and message. We use it for one thing — to answer you. The message is sent as an email to info@synegro.dk and sits in our mail system (Microsoft 365, servers in the EU). The legal basis is that you asked for the answer.
If you become a client, the data is kept in the case file for as long as the case runs, and then for as long as Danish bookkeeping law and professional liability require: accounting material for 5 years from the end of the financial year, case material for 6 years after the task ends. If you do not become a client, we delete the enquiry no later than 12 months after the last reply.
If you ask for a briefing document as a PDF, we send it as a reply to your email. You are not added to a list, and you get no newsletters — we have none.
When you book a meeting
Calendar booking runs through Microsoft Bookings, which is part of our Microsoft 365. Microsoft processes the data you enter when booking on our behalf under a data processing agreement. You can always book by calling or writing instead.
Who we share with
No one — apart from the suppliers that run our systems: Microsoft (mail, calendar, documents) and Simply.com (hosting of the site and the form). Both process data on our behalf. We do not sell, rent or share data with anyone else, and we do not use it for marketing.
In a construction case we share the data the case requires with those the case requires it of: the municipality for applications, the geotechnical engineer and land surveyor for owner-supplied services, contractors at tender. It is set out in the consultancy agreement and in the data processing agreement that comes with it.
Your rights
You can find out what we hold about you, have it corrected, have it deleted where the law does not require us to keep it, and have it released in a common format. Write to info@synegro.dk. We answer within a month — usually sooner.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency, Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby, datatilsynet.dk. We would rather hear it from you first.
